Yoga Courses In Goa, India

 

The usual yoga course is 2 weeks and offers 6 morning yoga classes and 4 afternoon classes weekly of various content according to the teacher and session.

 

It is most beneficial for students to take the full 2-week course, if life schedules do not permit this, we take one week bookings for the first week only.

 

Students should aim to arrive on Saturday between 14.00 and 17.00, the first class is Sunday morning and the last class is on a Friday morning, with departures on the last Saturday by 10.00.

Clayton Horton is the Director of Greenpath Yoga in San Francisco California. He is a student of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and the Greensufi. His practice is rooted in the Ashtanga Tradition and daily meditation. He received formal teaching authorization from the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute of Mysore, South India in 2003. Noah Williams is one of the handful of Certified Ashtanga teachers From the USA.

He began daily study under Tim Miller at the Ashtanga Yoga Center in Encinitas,California in 1993. At Tim's suggestion , Noah first traveled to Mysore to study with Sri.K.Pattabhi Jois in 1995, travelling yearly thereafter and obtaining certification in 2001.He was involved in the opening of the Ashtanga Yoga Shala in Los Angeles and has hosted Sri.K.Pattabhi Jois and R.Sharath over the past few years on their trips to California. more details »

David Swenson is recognized today as one of the worlds foremost practitioners and instructors of Ashtanga yoga.

This workshop is suitable for any level of Ashtanga practitioner including complete beginners. Intermediate and advanced practitioners will practice Mysore-style and receive individual attention, while novices will be given a thorough grounding in the Ashtanga sequence with led classes.
